Terms of Use

Effective Date:

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Domestic-Freight.com website and our mobile applications (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Accounts & Verification

  • You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under your account.
  • Drivers may be required to provide verification information and documents (e.g., identification and licensing documents) to access driver features and payouts.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.

3. The Services

Domestic Freight is a platform that helps connect senders/customers, businesses, and independent drivers to facilitate deliveries. We may provide tools for booking, dispatching, live tracking, customer support, and delivery proof.

We do not guarantee that a driver will always be available, that deliveries will be completed within a specific time, or that the Services will be uninterrupted.

4. Driver Terms (Location, Safety, Conduct)

  • Location: Drivers agree to provide location access during active deliveries to enable routing, safety features, and live tracking for the relevant delivery parties. Location may be collected in the background while an active delivery is in progress (subject to device permissions and settings).
  • Safety: Drivers must comply with all traffic laws and use navigation safely. Do not operate the app in a manner that distracts from safe driving.
  • Conduct: Drivers must act professionally, follow pickup/drop-off instructions, and avoid prohibited items and unlawful activity.
  • Device settings: If a driver disables required permissions during an active delivery, tracking and delivery completion may not work properly.

5. Customer/Business Terms

  • You are responsible for providing accurate pickup/drop-off information and lawful package contents.
  • You agree not to request delivery of illegal, dangerous, or prohibited items.
  • You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery where required.

6. Fees, Payments & Subscriptions

  • Fees, fares, and subscription charges (if applicable) will be displayed before or during booking and may vary based on distance, timing, and service type.
  • Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details unless explicitly stated.
  • Drivers may receive payouts based on completed deliveries, subject to our operational policies and any applicable deductions.

7. Cancellations, Refunds & Disputes

Cancellation, refund eligibility, and dispute handling may depend on the delivery status, time spent, distance traveled, and operational costs. If you have an issue with a delivery, contact support as soon as possible.

8. Acceptable Use

  • Do not misuse the Services or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Do not interfere with the operation or security of the platform.
  • Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including fake deliveries or identity documents).

9. User Content (Photos, Notes)

The Services may allow you to submit content such as delivery notes and package photos (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a license to use it to operate the Services (e.g., delivery proof, support, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention).

You are responsible for ensuring your User Content does not violate any law or third-party rights.

10. Third-Party Services (Maps, Payments)

The Services may integrate third-party services such as mapping and navigation providers (e.g., Google Maps/Apple Maps) and payment processors. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

11. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or for legal or operational reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time.

12. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Domestic-Freight.com will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Services.

Where permitted, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Domestic-Freight.com and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
